1. Put the hoods in the "OPEN" position.2. Disconnect clip (4) from the bracket. 3. Remove the bolts that hold the pipe to the aftercooler cover. Remove the bracket (3). Pull bracket assembly (5) and oil filler tube clear of the turbocharger pipe.4. Remove pipes (1) and (2) from the aftercooler cover and turbocharger as a unit.5. Remove oil supply line (6) from the turbocharger and cylinder block. 6. Remove the bolts that hold the oil drain line (8) to the turbocharger.7. Remove the bolts (9) and nuts. Remove turbocharger (7) from the coupling and elbow. 8. Remove oil drain line (8) from the flywheel housing.Install Turbocharger
1. Install the oil drain line (1) on the flywheel housing. 2. Put turbocharger (2) and gasket in position on the coupling and elbow.3. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the bolts that hold the turbocharger to the exhaust elbow. Install the bolts and tighten to a torque of 55 5N m (40 4 lb ft). 4. Install oil supply line (3) on the turbocharger and the other end to the cylinder block. 5. Check the O-ring seals on pipe (4) for wear or damage. If necessary, make replacement. Put a small amount of clean SAE 30W oil on the O-ring seals 6. Put pipes (4) and (5) in position on the turbocharger and aftercooler cover.7. Put bracket assembly (8) and bracket (6) in position and install the bolts that hold them to the aftercooler cover.8. Connect the clip on the oil filler tube (7) to the bracket.9.
