(5) Outlet to tank The joystick for bail control is located to the right side of the operator's seat. The bail is controlled by a trigger switch. The switch controls solenoid valve (1). When the bail is in the UP position, push the trigger switch in order to lower the bail. When the bail is in the DOWN position, push the trigger switch in order to raise the bail.The solenoid valve (1) is in the BAIL LOWER position when the engine is not running. The valve automatically goes to this position when the ignition switch is turned off and oil flow from the hydraulic pump stops.When the ignition switch is turned on and the engine is running, oil flows from the hydraulic pump into the manifold (2). Oil enters manifold (2) through inlet (4). Oil exits manifold (2) through outlet (3) and flows to the bail control valve. The bail will lower. When the solenoid switch is moved to the BAIL RAISE, solenoid valve (1) stops the oil flow from outlet (3). The oil is sent through outlet (5) to the hydraulic tank. The valve spool in the bail control valve is shifted to the right. The bail will raise.
