Install bolts (23) in the head assembly and main drive pump housing (6). Tighten bolts (23) to a torque of 205 10 N m (151 7 lb ft).

Typical Example
Use Tooling (D), Tooling (E), and Tooling (F) to check end play in shaft assembly (33). If end play exists in the shaft assembly, repeat Step 6 until the correct dimension between the head assembly and the main drive pump housing is reached.
Remove bolts (23) and head assembly (22) from main drive pump housing (6). Refer to Illustration 7 and Illustration 9.
Remove bearing cone (28) and adjustment shim (30) from shaft assembly (33). Refer to Illustration 6.
Proceed with the assembly of the fan drive pump.

Install spring (34).
Install swashplate (32) into main drive pump housing (6).

Use the nylon string to lower rotary group (31) into the main drive pump housing. Remove the nylon string.

Install shim (30), O-ring seals (29), and bearing cone (28).

Apply Tooling (G) onto the back of port plate (26) and install onto head assembly (22).
Install O-ring seal (25) onto head assembly (22).

Install head assembly (22) and bolts (23). Tighten bolts (23) to a torque of 205 10 N m (151 7 lb ft).
Install plug (24) and the O-ring seal.

Install spool (16), guide (17), spring (18), spring (19), O-ring seal (20), and plug (21) into compensator valve (5).
Install spool (10), guide (11), spring (12), spring (13), O-ring seal (14), and plug (15) into compensator valve (5).
Install gasket (9) onto compensator valve (5).

Install O-ring seal (8) and O-ring seals (7) onto valve group (4).

Install valve group (3) into main drive pump housing (6).
Install compensator valve (2) and bolts (5) onto main drive pump housing (6). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 15 2 N m (132 17 lb in).
Install fitting (4), the O-ring seal, adapter (1), and the O-ring seal.End By:
