5P-4197 Spacer     1    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the installation procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Use Tooling (D) and a suitable press in order to install bearing (14) onto gear (12) .

Lower the temperature of gear (12) and bearing (14). Install gear (12) and bearing (14) into flange (13) .

Install O-ring seal (15) and install key (16) .

Position gear (12), bearing (14), and flange (13) onto the shaft of fan pump (9) .
Install nut (11). Tighten nut (11) to a torque of 215 40 N m (160 30 lb ft).

Install bolts (10). Tighten bolts (10) to a torque of 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft).

Use a suitable lifting device in order to install fan pump (9). The weight of fan pump (9) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb). Install bolts (8) .

Install bracket (7). Install hose assembly (6) .

Connect harness assembly (5). Connect hose assemblies (4) .

Position center hood (2) and connect brace (3). Close center hood (2) .

Install guard (1) .

Remove Tooling (A) .
