1. Remove two bolts (1) and the washers. Remove fuel priming pump (2) and the gasket from the fuel filter base. The following steps are for the installation of the fuel priming pump.2. Check the condition of the gasket used between the fuel priming pump and the fuel filter base. If the gasket is worn or damaged, use a new part for replacement.3. Be sure both valve assemblies are in position in the bottom of the fuel priming pump.4. Put the gasket and fuel priming pump (2) in position on the fuel filter base. Install the washers and two bolts (1) that hold it.5. Check the operation of the fuel priming pump.
