Information:
Hydraulic Activation Control Lever
Locked - Move all controls to the HOLD position. Move the lever back to the locked position. This makes all factory installed hydraulic controls inoperable.
To start the engine, be sure to put the hydraulic activation control lever in the LOCKED position. If the lever is in the UNLOCKED position, the engine start switch will not function.
Unlocked - Move the lever forward to the unlocked position. This makes the factory installed hydraulic controls operable.Boom, Stick, Swing and Implement Controls
The pattern of the implement control levers can be varied by changing the way the control hoses are connected. See your Caterpillar dealer for the procedure. Some patterns may not be available in your area. See your Caterpillar dealer.
(A) SAE System. (B) MHI System. (C) KOB System. (D) Standard Backhoe Loader System. (E) SCM System. The patterns in the left and right columns are as they would apply to the left and right implement control levers. Stick Out (1) - Move the lever here to move the stick out. Swing Right (2) - Move the lever here to swing the upper structure to the right. Stick In (3) - Move the lever here to move the stick in. Swing Left (4) - Move the lever here to swing the upper structure to the left. Boom Lower (5) - Move the lever here to lower the boom. Bucket Dump (6) - Move the lever here to dump the bucket. Boom Raise (7) - Move the lever here to raise the boom. Bucket Close (8) - Move the lever here to close the bucket. Swing, stick, bucket or boom movement will stop. Two functions may be performed at the same time by moving the lever diagonally. If Equipped With a Hydraulic Hammer
Hammer Raise (6) - Move the lever here to raise the hammer. Hammer Lower (8) - Move the lever here to lower the hammer.Hydraulic Hammer Controls (If Equipped)
Hammer Speed Switch
Hammer Speed - This switch controls the two hammer speeds (if equipped). High - Push down on the front of the switch for high hammer stroke frequency. Use this position for light duty work such as demolition. Low - Push down on the rear of the switch for lower hammer stroke frequency. Use this position for heavy work such as breaking rocks.Switching Hydraulic Attachment Circuits
The flexibility of the hydraulic attachment circuits for this machine allow for installation of various types of attachments. Select a suitable hydraulic circuit arrangement to provide the flow and action requirements for the attachment used.Double action with one pump flow control or two pump flow control is available for attachments such as hydraulic shears.Place each of the ball valves to the correct position
