Remove screws (A). Remove filter screen (B). Also remove the air filter.Note: The electrical connection for the blower motor is accessible through the location of the air filter.

Remove wire tie-wrap (D) and disconnect electrical connector (C) for the blower motor.
Start the engine and turn the air conditioning system ON.

If your machine is equipped with the control panel in illustration 3, refer to step 5. If your machine is equipped with the control panel in illustration 4, refer to step 6.
Press fan speed override switch (increase) (9) until the highest fan speed is displayed. Continue to step 7.
Rotate fan speed knob (1) until the highest fan speed is displayed. Continue to step 7.
Check the female side of the connector for supply voltage (24 V) at the blower motor on wire C585-BR.
If the correct voltage is present, the blower motor should rotate when the blower motor is connected.
If the correct voltage is not present, or the blower motor only rotates at one speed, perform the Testing and Adjusting, "Speed Control - Test".
Stop the engine.
