Information:
2. Remove four bolts (1) and brackets (2) from each side of the radiator.3. Drain approximately 11.4 liter (3 U.S. gal) from the radiator. 4. Disconnect top radiator line (4) from the radiator. Disconnect oil line (3) from the top of the transmission oil cooler.5. Remove top half (5) of the fan guard. 6. Loosen the nuts on belt adjuster (6) and move the fan belts off the fan drive pulley toward the engine. Fasten a strap and hoist to the fan drive adapter as shown. 7. Remove four bolts (7) and spacer (8). Remove the fan drive and fan as a unit. The weight of the fan and fan drive is approximately 56 kg (125 lb). 8. Remove bolts (9) and remove fan (10) from the fan drive. Weight of the fan is 36 kg (80 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the fan.
Do not use a fan that is bent, damaged or makes contact with any other part of the engine. Install fans which have the identification "FRONT" toward the radiator.
9. Put fan (10) in position on the fan drive adapter and install bolts (9). 10. Fasten a strap and hoist to the fan and fan drive. Put the fan and fan drive in position on the engine. Put fan belts (7) over the fan drive as shown before spacer (8) is put in position. Put spacer (8) in position and install the bolts that hold the fan drive and spacer in place. 11. Connect top radiator line (4) to the radiator. Connect oil line (3) to the top of the transmission oil cooler.12. Install top fan guard (5).13. Put fan belts (7) in position on the pulley and adjust the belts to the correct tension. 14. Install bracket (2) with bolts (1) to each side of the radiator.15.
