Use a suitable lifting device to position the spider assembly of the main drive shaft (12) onto the yoke of the coupler adapter. The weight of the main drive shaft (12) is approximately 218 kg (480 lb).
Use the following procedure to mate the spider assembly onto the yoke of the coupler adapter.
Mate the key and the pilot diameter of the spider assembly with the yoke of the coupler adapter. Use a suitable rubber or wooden hammer to completely seat the spider assembly .
Install new bolts (11).
Use Tooling (H) to tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 1000 125 N m (738 92 lb ft) in an alternating (X) pattern.
Use Tooling (H) to tighten bolts (11), again, to a torque of 1000 125 N m (738 92 lb ft) in an alternating (X) pattern to ensure that the correct torque has been achieved.
Use a suitable lifting device to position the spider assembly of the pump drive shaft onto the yoke of the accessory pump drive. Install bolts (9). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 135 20 N m (100 15 lb ft) in an alternating X pattern.
Remove the suitable lifting devices from drive shafts (12).

Install drive shaft covers (8).

Install hinge (7). Repeat for the other side.

Attach a suitable lifting device to panel (5). The weight of panel (5) is approximately 48 kg (106 lb).
Position panel (5) and install bolts (4).
Tighten bolt (6).

Use a suitable lifting device in order to position support arm (3) and install the shims. The weight of support arm (3) is approximately 172 kg (380 lb).
Apply Tooling (J) onto bolts (2) and under the head of the bolts. Bolts (2) must be tightened in a crisscross pattern.
Remove Tooling (A). Install bolts (2). Remove the suitable lifting device.
Turn the power disconnect switch to the ON position.
Turn the fuel supply to the ON position.

Charge the air conditioner refrigerant for the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant". Refer to Special Publication, NEDG2500, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the
