The 117-6170 Control Group can be connected to the CAT data link wherever it is convenient to do so. Segment length may vary and does not have to be in equal portions between attachment modules. The length of all the segments must be less than or equal to 458 m (1500 ft). The 117-6170 Control Group is adaptable to all of the above engines.
It is recommended that 123-2376 Electric Cable is used for the data link wire. If any other cable is used data link communication problems may occur.
