Note: The Duo-Cone seal rubber toric rings and all the surfaces in contact with the rings must be clean and dry at assembly. Apply a thin layer of oil on the contacting surfaces of the metal seal before installation. The seal rings must be assembled square with the bore. Do not bulge or twist the toric rings.
Dimension (X1), dimension (X2), and dimension (X3) must be measured for each installation.
Dimension (X3) must be greater than dimension (X2) minus dimension (X1) plus 3.50 mm (0.138 inch).
Dimension (X3) must be less than dimension (X2) minus dimension (X1) plus 6.00 mm (0.236 inch).
Shims must be added or material must be removed from the disk in order to meet this requirement.
