Disconnect harness assembly (1) . Disconnect hose assemblies (2) . Cap hose assemblies (2) with Tooling (A) .

Remove bolts (3) .
Remove DEF injector assembly (4) and gasket (5) . Discard gasket (5) and seal (6) from DEF injector assembly (4) .Installation Procedure
Install DEF injector assembly (4) in the reverse order of removal.Note: To maintain cleanliness, the protective caps must remain in place until the final fluid connections are made.Note: Install gasket (5) so that the metal is toward the Diesel Particulate Filter Group.
Replace gasket (5) with a new gasket. Replace seal (6) with a new seal.
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolts (3) .
Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 5.0 0.5 N m (44 4 lb in).
Retighten bolts (3) to a torque of 5.0 0.5 N m (44 4 lb in). Turn an additional 90° 5°.
