Recover the air conditioner refrigerant from the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "All Products Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a For All Caterpillar Machines" for the procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the tools.

Remove bolt (3) and disconnect hose assembly (5).
Remove bolt (4) and disconnect hose assembly (6).

Use two people to remove grill assembly (8). The weight of grill assembly (8) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Remove bolts (7) and grill assembly (8).

Loosen clamps (10) and remove hose (9).
