1. Loosen bolt (1) about three or four turns. 2. Move pin (2) toward the outside just enough to clear the brake lining. 3. Push brake lining (3) toward the outside of the brake caliper just enough to collapse the piston. Remove brake lining (3). Repeat steps 1-3 for the remaining brake lining within the caliper. The following steps are for the installation of the brake linings. 4. Put brake lining (3) in position in the brake caliper. 5. Push pin (2) into the brake caliper. 6. Check the distance between the pins and the brake disc with a feeler gauge. The distance must not be less than 1.5 0.5 mm (.06 .02 in).7. Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 46 3 N m (34 2 lb ft). Repeat steps 4-7 for the remaining brake lining within the caliper.
