Install spring (94), ball (96), seat (95) and snap ring (98) in spool (87). d. Assemble spool (83). Install check (89), spring (92), retainer (90) and spiral snap ring (93) in spool (83). Install the ring on pin (88). Install pin (88) in spool (83). Install two spacers (91) in spool (83). e. Install spring (86) and spool (87) in valve body (76).f. Install spring (82), spool (83), cover (84) and two bolts (85) on valve body (76). g. Install O-ring seal (79) on filter (78). Put clean oil on the O-ring seal.h. Install filter screen (78) in rotary spool (75). Tighten the filter screen to a torque of 6.1 0.7 N m (54 5 lb in).j. Install pin (81) in rotary spool (75).k. Position plug (77) in rotary spool (75). Align the holes in plug (77) and rotary spool (75), and install pin (80). Install the pin until it is 1.0 0.5 mm (.04 .02 in) below the surface of the rotary spool. l. Install spring (74), piston (73) and rotary spool (75) in valve body (76). m. Position plate (69) on manifold (72), and install five bolts (67). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft).n. Position selector and pressure control valve group (49) on plate (69), and install thirteen bolts (66). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft).o. Install the O-ring seal on manifold (70). Position manifold (70) on selector and pressure control valve group (49), and install three bolts (71). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft).p. Install the two O-ring seals on sleeve (68). Install sleeve (68) in manifold (70). 3. Assemble rotary actuator group (50) as follows:
To prevent damage to roller bearing (65) when it is installed in actuator body (54), only drive the bearing on the stamped end.
a. Install roller bearing (65) in actuator body (54). The bearing must be flush (even) with the outer surface of the actuator body.b. Install actuator vane (64) and two bolts (63) in the actuator body. Do not tighten bolts (63) at this time.c. Install the two O-ring seals in actuator body (54). d. Put clean SAE 10W oil on rotor (60). Install rotor (60) in actuator body (54).e. Install detent assemblies (62) in the actuator body as shown, and install pin (61).
To prevent damage to bearing (59) when it is installed in cover (56), only drive the bearing on the stamped end.
f. Install bearing (59) in cover (56). Install the bearing so that it extends 4.0 0.5 mm (.157 .020 in) above the surface of the cover. g. Install selector spool (57) in actuator body (54)
