Remove the air compressor if the engine is equipped.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Disconnect harness assemblies (2). Remove bolt (1). Remove the bracket and speed-timing sensors (3).
If necessary, remove speed-timing sensors (3) from the bracket.

Remove O-ring seals (4). Installation Procedure
Install speed-timing sensors (3) in reverse order of removal. Note: Check the O-ring seals for wear or for damage. Replace the O-ring seals, if necessary.
Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seals.
Install speed-timing sensors (3). Seat speed-timing sensors (3) into the bracket. Install bolt (1). Tighten bolt (1) to a torque of 28 7 N m (21 5 lb ft). Connect harness assemblies (2).
