Removal Procedure
Note: This machine contains four batteries. The batteries are connected in series. Mark the position of both the batteries and the battery cables prior to removal.
Open the rear access door on the left side of the machine.

Move the battery disconnect switch (1) to the OFF position.

Remove nuts (2) from battery covers (3) .
Remove battery covers (3) .

Move rubber covers (4) from the battery terminal posts.
Remove the negative terminals from each of the batteries.
Remove the positive terminals from each of the batteries.
Remove the batteries.Installation Procedure
Note: This machine contains four batteries. The batteries are connected in series. Each battery MUST be in the correct position in order for correct machine operation.
Install the batteries in the correct position.
Install the positive terminals on each of the batteries.
Install the negative terminals on each of the batteries.

Move rubber covers (4) onto the battery terminal posts.

Install battery covers (3) .
Install nuts (2) onto battery covers (3) .

Move the battery disconnect switch (1) to the ON position.
Close the access door.
