1. Remove the former catwalk assemblies as a unit.2. Fabricate a gusset as shown in Illustration 1.3. Weld a 7F5462 Lug and a gusset inside the 9D4042 Fender Assembly as shown in Illustration 2. Also, a hole must be drilled through the fender and in alignment with the hole in the 7F5462 Lug.4. Assemble the improved catwalk group as shown in Illustration 3.5. Fasten the new catwalk assemblies to the cab in the same locations as the former assemblies.
