Start By:a. remove vibration damper guard 1. Remove two bolts (1) and install tooling (B).2. Install tooling (A) and attach a hoist. Remove the remaining bolts (1).3. Remove vibration damper (2). The weight of the vibration damper assembly is 91 kg (200 lb).4. If necessary, remove bolts (3) and remove the damper from the adapter. The weight of the adapter is 34 kg (75 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the vibration damper.5. If the damper was removed from the adapter, install the damper with bolts (3). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 100 15 N m (75 10 lb ft).6. Install tooling (B) in the end of the crankshaft. Using tooling (A) and a hoist, position the vibration damper on the engine using the guide bolts. Make sure the mark on the vibration damper is aligned with the mark on the end of the crankshaft.7. Install four bolts (1). Remove tooling (B) and install the remaining two bolts (1). Use 2P2506 Thread Lubricant and torque bolts (1) to a torque of 1125 100 N m (820 75 lb ft).End By:a. install vibration damper guard
