Tractors, 777B TrucksDescription of Change: A new disc is used in No. 1 clutch of the transmission. The new bronze disc has a 3.00 mm (.12 in) land width friction material with an improved pattern. The new disc is more resistant to fatigue and will provide improved service life. Fatigue of the friction material lands on the former disc shortened its service life.Adaptable To: The new 9N4387 Disc is a direct replacement for the former 6Y1363 Disc in the No. 1 clutch of the 9W9306 Planetary Group in above models only. The former disc is used in other applications therefore will remain in the parts system. When replacing clutch discs in the No. 1 clutch in these machines, use the 9N4387 Disc. New disc can be used back to first production if all updates have been done. The first transmission built with the new disc was 2PE2080.
