Assembly Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install nipple assemblies (20) and O-ring seals (15). Install plug (21) and O-ring seal (16).
Install relief valve (19), O-ring seal (17), and O-ring seal (18) in valve body (1).

Install lip seal (14) in valve body (1).

Dimension (A) is equal to 51.56 0.76 mm (2.030 0.030 inch).
Assemble bolt (7), washers (8), washer (9), spring (10), exterior tube (11), interior tube (12), and washer (13) to spool (6).Note: Dimension (A) should be equal to 51.56 0.76 mm (2.030 0.030 inch).

Install spool assembly (6) in valve body (1).
Install spring retainer (4) and O-ring seal (5) in valve body (1).

Install plug (2) and O-ring seal (3) in valve body (1).End By:
Install the winch control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Winch) - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
