The bypass switch is a pressure switch that shows whether the filter is plugged and the filter is being bypassed. This switch is normally open. When electrical power is applied to the switch, the switch closes. When the filter becomes plugged, the pressure of the oil opens the switch which allows the oil to bypass the filter. This switch is one of the inputs that is used to drive the "system indicator" in the instrument cluster. This indicator is turned ON when the "brake oil filter bypass" switch is in the closed position and with the engine running.Brake Oil Temperature Sensor
Illustration 5 g02795131
The brake oil temperature sensor is an 8 VDC sensor that sends a signal to the brake ECM to determine brake oil temperature. Cab Air Temperature Sensor
Illustration 6 g02795843
The cab air temperature sensor gives the brake ECM feedback on the temperature inside the cab. This sensor, coupled with the cab vent duct temp sensor and the water valve actuator, allows for automatic temperature control. Cab Vent Duct Temperature Sensor
Illustration 7 g02795843
The cab vent duct temperature sensor indicates to the ECM the output temperature of the HVAC system near the vent louvers. Evaporator Temperature Probe
Illustration 8 g02002120
The evaporator temperature probe measures the temperature of the evaporator coil. The signal for the temperature is used to prevent the evaporator coil from reaching temperatures below 5° C (41° F). The brake ECM monitors this input signal and will send signals to adjust refrigerant flow to maintain proper evaporator coil temperatures. Key Switch
Illustration 9 g02793997
The key switch is an input to the brake ECM. The key switch is a switch to battery input. Power is supplied when the key switch is in the START and RUN positions.Left Steering Position Sensor
Illustration 10 g02794361
The left steering position sensor is an 8 VDC PWM sensor that returns a signal to the brake ECM. From this signal, the ECM determines the position of the steer cylinder which also determines the turn angle of the front wheels. Secondary Brake Pedal Position Sensor
Illustration 11 g02794002
The secondary brake pedal position sensor detects the position of the secondary brake pedal. Service Brake Oil Accumulator Pressure Sensor
Illustration 12 g02795174
The service brake oil accumulator pressure sensor is an 8 VDC sensor. The sensor sends a signal to the brake ECM to determine brake oil accumulator pressure.Service Brake Position Sensor
Illustration 13 g02794000
The service brake position sensor detects the position of the service brake pedal. The sensor input is sent to the brake ECM.Start Relay
The neutral start function restricts starting of the engine if the shift lever is not in the PARK position. When this function is enabled, the machine ECM activates the start relay which then cranks the starting motor.TCS Wheel Speed Sensor
Illustration 14 g02796399
The left and right rear TCS wheel speed sensors feed wheel speed information to the brake ECM. The wheel speed is used to influence the performance of the Traction Control System (TCS).
