525-8305 Torque Wrench Gp 1 Note: Verify that all the components of the final drive, brake, and wheel are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.Note: Lubricate all the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Position a lift truck to Tooling (A).

Use Tooling (A) and a lift truck to position final drive, brake and wheel (6), and the O-ring seal to the housing. The weight of final drive, brake, and wheel (6) is approximately 13579 kg (29937 lb).Note: New bolts are recommended with this procedure. Bolts that have been torqued previously should not be reused.
Use Tooling (B) to install bolts (5) that secure final drive, brake, and wheel (6) to the housing. Tighten bolts (5) in a circular pattern to a torque of 1200 100 N m (885 74 lb ft).
Repeat step 3 to ensure that all the bolts are evenly tightened to a torque of 1200 100 N m (885 74 lb ft).
Rotate each bolt by an additional 90 5 degrees.
Remove Tooling (A).

Use bolts (3) to secure tube assemblies (4) and the O-ring seals to the brake assembly.

Use bolts (1) and the clips to secure hose assemblies (2) to the brake assembly.End By:
Install the axle shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle Shaft - Install".
Install the tire and rim. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tire and Rim - Install".
