Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Steering Frame Lock".

Use Tooling (A) to chock the front wheels.

Position Tooling (B) as shown in Illustration 2 to raise the rear of the machine until the rear wheels are off the ground. Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1303, "Lift Group (Stand - 25 Ton)" for more information on Tooling (B).

Attach a suitable lifting device onto rear wheel (1). Remove bolts (2). Remove rear wheel (1) from the spindle hub. The weight of rear wheel (1) is approximately 272 kg (600 lb). Repeat this step for the remaining wheels.Installation Procedure

Use a suitable lifting device to install rear wheel (1). The weight of rear wheel (1) is approximately 272 kg (600 lb). Install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 900 100 N m (664 74 lb ft). Repeat this step for the remaining wheels.

Use Tooling (B) to lower the rear of the machine. Remove Tooling (B).
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Steering Frame Lock".

Remove Tooling (A) from the front wheels.
