(1) Apply Tooling (G) to the threads of bolt (1) . Tighten bolt (1) with a 46 mm socket to a torque of 600 130 N m (443 96 lb ft). (2) Apply Tooling (H) to wiper seal groove (2) prior to assembly. (3) Tighten head (3) to a torque of 600 130 N m (443 96 lb ft). (4) Lubricate sealing lips with a thin covering of the lubricant that is being sealed.Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Inspect the O-ring seals. Replace the O-ring seals that are worn or damaged.

Use Tooling (B) in order to install bearing (17) .

Use Tooling (H) in order to Install seal assemblies (9) . Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other side.

Position refrigerant compressor (12) and install four bolts (11) .
Connect harness assemblies (10) .
Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Replace".
Position cover (13) and install two bolts (14) .

Install bolt (15) .
Install engine oil filter (16) . Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change".

Use two people in order to install articulation cylinder (8) . The weight of articulation cylinder (8) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Install pin assembly (5) and install the washer (not shown). Install cotter pin (4) .
Install bolt (6) and install the bushing (not shown).
Connect hose assemblies (7) .

Install pin assembly (2) and install the washer (not shown).
Install bolt (3) and install the bushing (not shown).

Close right side door assembly (1) .

Remove Tooling (A) .End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
