HOSE 1982665 - Caterpillar

Remove the tube assembly (U), o-ring seal (V), two half flange (W), four hard washers (X), and four bolts (Y). Retain all the parts. Refer to Illustration 9.
Remove the hose (Z), four hose clamp (AA), tube assembly (AB), o-ring seal (AC), four washers (AD), two bolts (AE), and two bolts (AF). Retain all the parts. Refer to Illustration 9.Note: Mark the location of each two bolts (AE) and two bolts (AF) while removing. Since each bolts are different size in length.
Remove the tube assembly (AG) and discard the part. Refer to Illustration 9.
Remove and retain the eight bolts (AH) and eight hard washers (AJ). Refer to Illustration 9.

Remove the 372-4539 Machine Preheater Gp (if equipped) and the step assembly (AK) to remove the tube assembly (AG). Retain all the parts.

Remove the screen assembly (AL), plate (AM), locking blot (AN), two rods (AP), two locknuts (AR), and two nuts (AS) from the tube assembly (AG). Discard the tube assembly (AG) and retain all the parts.

Install the tube assembly (14) with o-ring seal (16), eight bolts (AH), and eight hard washers (AJ) to the hydraulic tank assembly, that were retained in 11. Refer to Illustration 13.

Fill the hydraulic tank with approximately 315 L (83 US gal) of appropriate hydraulic oil, purge system and top off as required. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual
