1. Adjust the length of each rod (2) in end (1) and balljoint (5) on each control lever (6) as follows. Make the adjustment so detent roller (10) will keep the lift control lever (6) and the control valve stem in the "RAISE" and in the "FLOAT" positions with full travel of the valve spool in either direction. The detent roller for the tilt control lever must hold the lever and the control valve stem in only the "TILTBACK" position with full travel of the valve spool in either direction.2. Adjust each eyebolt (11) to give a distance of 1.00 in. (25.4 mm) (distance A) from the center of the eyebolt to mounting face of the bracket assembly. Tighten nuts (12).3. End (9) is installed on solenoid (13) to get a clearance of .06 to .12 in. (1.52 to 3.05 mm) between detent roller (10) and control lever (6) when the solenoid core is fully retracted (either electrically or pushed down).4. Move lift control lever (6) to let detent roller (10) keep it in the "RAISE" position. The detent roller must keep the tilt control lever in the "TILT BACK" position. 5. Turn locknut (3) on rod (2) for the lift control until the nut is just against washer (4), then turn the locknut three more turns against the washer. Do the same for the locknut (3) on rod (2) for the tilt control.6. Move lift control lever (6) so detent roller (10) keeps the lever in the "FLOAT" position. Turn locknut (8) on rod (2) until the nut is just against washer (7), then turn the locknut three more turns against the washer.
