2. Loosen tension adjusting bolt (3). Loosen the two alternator mounting bolts. Push alternator (1) toward the engine to loosen the tension on alternator/fan V-belts (2). Remove both V-belts from the alternator drive pulley. Route the two V-belts over the fan assembly to remove them from the machine. The following steps are for the installation of the of the alternator/fan V-belts.3. Check the condition of alternator/fan V-belts (2) for wear or damage. If the V-belts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.4. Install the alternator/fan V-belts in the reverse order of removal.5. Adjust the tension of the alternator/fan V-belts.
