Start By:
Remove the final drives. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive Carriers, Hub and Brakes - Disassembly".

Disconnect outer tie rod (1).

Remove grease zerk (3).
Remove bolts (2).
Remove upper trunnion (4).

Remove shim (7), bearing cone (5), sealing cap (6), and O-ring seal (8) from upper trunnion (4).

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device.
Remove bolts (9).
Install Tooling (D) into lower trunnion (10).
Remove lower trunnion (10).

Remove bearing cone (11), sealing cap (12), and O-ring seal (13) from lower trunnion (10).

Remove outer housing (14) from the inner housing. Leave axle shaft (15) in the inner housing. The weight of outer housing (14) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb).

Remove axle shaft (15).

Use Tooling (B) in order to remove retaining ring (17).
Separate axle shaft (16) from U-joint (18).

Use Tooling (C) in order to remove oil seal (19).

Use Tooling (C) in order to remove bushing (20).

Use Tooling (C) in order to remove oil seal (21).

Use Tooling (C) in order to remove bushing (22).

Use a suitable pry bar in order to remove bearing cups (23).
