Install electronic control (1) on left rear of machine with bolts (2). Use the mounts that were removed previously.

Reconnect chassis harness (3) to electronic control (1) and tighten bolts in connectors to ECM (1).

Close the left rear door (4) and install bolt (5).

Install plug (6) into door (4). Configure Software and Prepare Machine for Operation
Fill the hydraulic tank and refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU8692, ""Lubrication Viscosities and Refill Capacities"".

Install film (1) onto the oil fill cap.
Flash the machine controller with 422-8552 Machine Software (or a later version).
Flash the monitor with 377-1903 Monitor Software (or a later version).
For M313D machines, flash the engine controller with 436-2741 Software (or a later version.) For M315D machines, flash the engine controller with 436-2739 Engine Ratings Electronic Software Gp (or a later version.)

Use Cat ET to set the "Aftertreatment System Configuration" parameter to "Type 1."Note: When changing the parameter, a factory password will be required.How to Rotate the Rear View Camera
After flashing the monitor with new software, rotate the rear view camera to enable the correct view in the monitor.

On the rear view camera is a white triangle, which points upwards. Rotate the camera 90 degrees to the left (counter clockwise), so that the triangle points to the left side.

Tilting the camera to the left enhances the displayed area of the counter weight in the image. Reduce the displayed counter weight area by adopting the vertical camera angle (tilt the camera slightly upwards).
Check that the rear view camera imagine is in the monitor.
