A     2P-8250     Strap Wrench Assembly     1    Note: Install caps and plugs on all openings in order to prevent dirt or debris from entering the system. Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal components.Note: For easier assembly, mark all hose assemblies, tube assemblies, wire harnesses and cables for identification purposes.

Close fuel shutoff valve (5) that is located below the primary fuel filter.

Remove the fuel pressure switch from secondary fuel filter base (2) .
Use Tooling (A) in order to remove secondary fuel filter assembly (3) from secondary fuel filter base (2) .
Disconnect tube assembly (1), the O-ring seal, and the roller bearing cup from secondary fuel filter base (2) .
Remove bolts (4) and the washers from secondary fuel filter base (2) .
Remove secondary fuel filter base (2) and the filter base gasket from the engine.Installation Procedure
Note: Verify that all of the components of the secondary fuel filter and the fuel filter base are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.Note: Check all of the components and all of the O-ring seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Position secondary fuel filter base (2) and the filter base gasket to the engine.
Install bolts (4) and the washers in order to secure secondary fuel filter base (2) to the engine.
Lightly lubricate the O-ring seal in tube assembly (1) with clean fuel.
Install the roller bearing cup, the O-ring seal, and tube assembly (1) to secondary fuel filter base (2) .
Install secondary fuel filter assembly (3) to secondary fuel filter base (2) .

Open shutoff valve (5) that is located below the primary fuel filter.
