Remove the eight bolts (M) and eight hard washers (N) that secure handrail group (J) and handrail group (K) to stairway assembly (L). Handrail group (J) and handrail group (K) will not be reused. Save the eight bolts, eight hard washers, and the two bolts (L1).

Remove the eight nuts (P), four U-bolts (T), and the four plates (S) that secure the two plates (R). Remove the two plates (R). Save all the parts.

Remove the 16 bolts (W) and the 16 washers (X) that retain pipe assembly (U) and pipe assembly (V). Remove the two pipe assemblies. The two pipe assemblies will not be reused. Save the bolts and washers.

Use the 16 bolts (W) and the 16 washers (X) that were saved earlier to attach pipe assembly (1) and pipe assembly (2) to the machine.

Use the eight nuts (P), four U-bolts (T), and four plates (S) that were saved earlier to secure the two plates (R) to the pipe assemblies.

Use the eight bolts (M), and eight hard washers (N) to assemble the two blocks (8) to the stairway assembly.
Assemble two bushings (7) into pipe assembly (4). The bushings need to be flush with the outside of the hub. Assemble one quad ring seals (5) inside pipe assembly (4) toward the stairway assembly. Assemble one quad ring seals (5) onto the outside of the outside bushing. Assemble bushing (6) through the centers of the two bushings. Use one bolt (L1) that was saved earlier to secure the pipe assembly to block (8).
Note: Before assembly, apply 5P-0960 Grease Cartridge (Molybdenum) to the two quad ring seals (5).
Repeat the process in the previous step on pipe assembly (3).

Use two screws (9), two plated washers (10), four quad ring seals (11), and four bushings (12) to install pipe assembly (13) between pipe assembly (2) and pipe assembly (4).
Note: Before assembly, apply 5P-0960 Grease Cartridge (Molybdenum) to the four quad ring seals (11).
Repeat the process on the opposite side to connect pipe assembly (14) between pipe assembly (1), and pipe assembly (3).

Use two screws (9), two plated washers (10), four quad ring seals (11), and four bushings (12) to install pipe assembly (13) in the top position between pipe assembly (2) and pipe assembly (4).
Note: Before assembly, apply 5P-0960 Grease Cartridge (Molybdenum) to the four quad ring seals (11).
Repeat the process on the opposite side to connect pipe assembly (14) in the top position between pipe assembly (1), and pipe assembly (3).

For the 785D machines, use nut (A1), two washers (A2), bolt (A3), and two clips (A4) that were saved earlier to install grommet (15) onto pipe assembly (2).

Use the four nuts (B2), four washers (B3), and the two U-bolts (B4) that were saved earlier to secure plate (B1) to the machine.
Install one grommet (15) to the machine as shown if needed. Use clips (B6), bolt (B7), nut (B8), and washer (B9) to secure clip (B10) to the machine.
