During this test, the ECM sends maximum current to the forward solenoids or reverse solenoids for the pumps. The ECM sends zero current to the solenoids for the motors. This procedure places both the pumps and the motors at maximum displacement and causes the tracks to run at a certain fraction of engine speed.Required Tools

Move the machine to a smooth, horizontal location that is away from operating machines and away from personnel.
Place the steering control lever in the NEUTRAL position.
Engage the parking brake.
Fully retract the counterweight.
Stop the engine.
Turn the key to the ON position, but do not start the engine.
Verify that the implement lockout switch is in the UNLOCK position.
Move the thumb wheel for the counterweight
