Apply 7M-7456 Compound to the bore before installing seals (30) .
Make sure that the OD of the collets, ID of the collets and the mating surfaces of the collets are clean. Apply 5P-3931 Thread Compound to the ID of collets (29). Apply 5P-3931 Thread Compound to the bolt thread (28) .
Tighten bolt (28) to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 150 lb ft). Strike the collets until the torque on the bolt is less than 950 N m (700 lb ft).
Tighten the bolt to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 150 lb ft). Strike the collets until the torque on the bolt is less than 1600 N m (1180 lb ft).
Tighten the bolt to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 150 lb ft).
Do step 7 for an optional installation procedure.
Install the pins and collets. Press the collets to the pin with a 507,000 N (114,000 lb) force. Install the bolt. Tighten the bolt to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 150 lb ft).
After 50 hours of operation, apply a torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 150 lb ft) to bolt (28) .
