Procedure to Install the 169-6326 Radio (Deluxe CD Player)
On the back of the radio, install the 136-5490 Bushing onto the stud.
Install the 102-0382 Sleeve into the headliner. If necessary, slightly squeeze the sleeve at the top and the bottom. After you position the sleeve, make sure that you adjust the top and the bottom for a tight fit.
After you install the sleeve, bend back the tabs. This will secure the sleeve in the headliner.Note: There are many tabs on the sleeve. These tabs are for panels with different thicknesses. Use the tabs that provide the most secure mounting.
Locate the radio harness assembly and the coaxial cable. Pull the radio harness assembly and the coaxial cable out of the headliner so that the radio harness assembly and the coaxial cable are accessible.
Locate the angled plate in the mounting plate.
While you hold the radio, connect the 155-0044 Harness to the radio. The 155-0044 Harness is then connected to the radio harness assembly. Also, connect the cable for the radio antenna to the coaxial cable in the headliner.Note: If you are installing the optional CD player, place the 136-5447 Harness into the headliner. Use the recommended removal tools in order to remove the radio. Fully insert the removal tools into the holes on each side of the radio.
