Removal Procedure
Start By:
Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release". Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all harness assemblies, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Use two people in order to lower guard assembly (1). The weight of guard assembly (1) is approximately 80 kg (175 lb).

Disconnect all cable assemblies (2). Use two people in order to remove electric starting motor (3). The weight of electric starting motor (3) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Remove bolts (4) and remove electric starting motor (3). Installation Procedure

Use two people in order to position electric starting motor (3). The weight of electric starting motor (3) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Install bolts (4). Connect all cable assemblies (2).

Use two people in order to raise guard assembly (1). The weight of guard assembly (1) is approximately 80 kg (175 lb). Install the bolts.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
