Remove all 1692572 TURBO GP-BAS and all 1747087 TURBO GP-BAS with turbocharger serial numbers beginning with DB through DL from parts stock.
***** Affected Product *****
Inspect the part number tag on turbochargers in Dealer stock, on undelivered machines, on spare engines, and on low hour machines (under 2000 Hrs) for Serial Numbers from "DB to and including "DL".
Remove any turbochargers with these Serial Number prefixes.
Reinstall new turbochargers with new o-rings, gaskets, and fasteners on undelivered machines or new spare engines. Install Reman turbos on units in service or spare Reman engines.
Submit one claim for all turbochargers in Dealer Stock. Replace new turbochargers in stock with new turbochargers and Reman turbochargers in stock with Reman turbochargers.
On D11R and D11R Cd apply TIBU3424 (August 22, 2001) when installing the replacement turbochargers.
Include the complete turbocharger Serial Number for all claimed turbochargers in the claim story.

Use the appropriate 99Z code for spare components when submitting a claim on a spare engine in dealer stock.
