Remove the center drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft (Center) - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.

Remove nut (1) and the clip.
Remove tube assembly (2) .

Remove bolt (3) and retainer (4) .
Remove yoke assembly (5) from the front drive shaft.

Remove six bolts (6), the washers, and the nuts from carrier bearing housing (7) .

Support front drive shaft (8) with suitable wood blocks, as shown.

Remove four bolts (9), and spider bearing (10) .

Install two M12 forcing screws (11) in carrier bearing housing (7), as shown.
Tighten forcing screws (11) evenly in order to loosen the carrier bearing housing from the front main frame.

Attach Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) to carrier bearing.
Use Tooling (B) in order to keep the front drive shaft level during removal.
Use two people in order to remove the front drive shaft and the carrier bearing from the machine. The combined weight of the front drive shaft and carrier bearing is 108 kg (240 lb).
