Removal Procedure
Start bya. Remove the hood panels.b. Remove the air cleaner.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Loosen clamps (2) and disconnect hoses (1).
Remove exhaust shield (3).

Loosen clamps (4) and disconnect hoses (5). Attach a suitable lifting device onto muffler assembly (7). The weight of muffler assembly (7) is approximately 126 kg (278 lb). Remove bolts (6). Remove muffler assembly (7). Repeat the procedure for the opposite side.
Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Install muffler assembly (7) in the reverse order of removal.
