Both of the crankcase breathers are located on the back of the engine.
Remove tube (1) from the outlet of the breather and loosen clamp (2).
Remove bolts (2) and remove the breather from the engine.
Check the condition of the seal. Replace the seal if the seal is damaged.
Remove the breather element. Wash the breather element and wash the breather in a clean nonflammable solvent.
Shake the breather element until the breather element is dry. You may also use pressurized air in order to dry the breather element.
Check the condition of the tube. Replace the tube if the tube is damaged.
Install the element into the breather and install the breather with bolts (3).
Install tube (1) onto the outlet of the breather cover and tighten clamp (2).
Perform steps 1 through 8 for each crankcase breather.
