HOSE AS 2295587 - Caterpillar

Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change " for the correct draining and filling procedures.
Drain the diesel exhaust fluid into a suitable container for storage or disposal.

Disconnect head light (1) from inside the storage box.

Remove cable straps (2) from the head light harness.

Remove bolts (4) from hand rail (3). Remove bolts (5) from the bracket on hand rail (3). Remove bolt (7). Loosen bolt (6) and swivel hand rail (3) out of the way.

Remove over flow catch (8).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to storage box (9). The weight of storage box (9) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Remove bolts (10) and storage box (9).

Disconnect hose (11).

Disconnect clip (13) and harness assemblies (14).

Attach a suitable lifting device to diesel exhaust fluid module (16). The weight of diesel exhaust fluid module (16) approximately 32 kg (.70 lb). Remove bolts (17) and diesel exhaust fluid module (16). Installation Procedure
Install diesel exhaust fluid module (16) in the reverser order of removal.
Apply Tooling (B) to the O-ring seal inside the end of hose assembly (11).
