Area to be inspectedProduct Distribution Centers and dealers report stabilizer drift, when the cylinders are disassembled. The 4J-0526 O-Ring Seal is damaged during disassembly.Solution
If stabilizer drift is detected and the cylinder has been determined to be the root cause, the cylinder is to be disassembled. Inspect the piston seals and bore. If no obvious damage is found, remove the piston from the rod and inspect 4J-0526 O-Ring Seal for damage. Replace with like part. Inspect rod end for burrs or sharp edges. Remove as necessary. Lubricate 4J-0526 O-Ring Seal on piston prior to reassembly onto rod. Lubricate all seals on piston prior to inserting piston into cylinder bore. Be sure not to lubricate the threads on the piston or rod.
