Raise the temperature of ring gear (20) . Use a suitable press and Tooling (C) in order to install ring gear (20) onto the housing.

Install thrust washer (19) .

Install axle bevel gear (17) .

Install bearings (15) and bearings (13) . Install spider gears (14) and long spider gear shaft (16) .

Install spider gears (11) and short spider shafts (12) . Drive spring pins (10) into short spider shafts (12) .

Install axle bevel gear (9) . Install thrust bearing (8) .

Apply Tooling (D) to thrust washer (7) . Install thrust washer (7) onto housing (5) .

Install housing (5) and start bolts (4) .
Raise the temperature of bearing cone (6) . Install bearing cone (6) .

Use a suitable press and Tooling (E) in order to secure the differential assembly. Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 400 N m (295 lb ft).

Install upper housing (2) and start bolts (1) .
Raise the temperature of bearing cone (3) . Install bearing cone (3) .

Use a suitable lifting device in order to position the differential onto a suitable press. The weight of the differential is approximately 77 kg (170 lb). Use the suitable press and Tooling (E) in order to secure the differential. Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 185 N m (136 lb ft).
