Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary.
Lubricate all of the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Position Tooling (A) and wood blocks under oil pan (2), as shown.
Position oil pan (2) and the oil pan gasket to the engine. Install 38 washer head bolts (8) that hold oil pan (2) to the engine. The weight of oil pan (2) is approximately 28 kg (62 lb).

Install the loop clip, bolt (7), the hard washer, and the nut that holds the tube assembly to oil pan (2).
Position the elbow and the O-ring seal to oil pan (2). Install two bolts (6) that hold the elbow to oil pan (2).

Install bolt (5), the washer, and the clip that holds the hose assembly to oil pan (2).

Install four bolts (4) and the washers that hold the bracket assembly to oil pan (2).

Install two bolts (3) that hold the elbow to oil pan (2).

Connect hose assembly (1) to the elbow.

If equipped, install the aftercooler tube. Install the bracket and tube (9). Tighten hose clamps (10).
Refill the engine with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7093, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change" for the correct procedure to fill the engine with oil. End By:
Install the crankcase guards. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankcase Guard - Remove and Install".
