Remove the swing motor.
Thoroughly clean the area around the swing drive prior to removal.
Put identification marks on the swing drive to mark the location for installation purposes.

Remove bolts (1).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to swing drive (2). The weight of swing drive (2) is approximately 190 kg (420 lb).
Remove corks (3) from the threaded holes in the swing drive housing.

Install Tooling (B) in each threaded hole in swing drive (2).Note: Slowly tighten one forcing screw for no more than two turns, and then tighten the other forcing screw for no more than two turns. At the same time keep tension on the swing drive with the suitable lifting device. Tighten the forcing screws evenly in this manner to remove the swing drive.
Use Tooling (B) to remove swing drive (2).Installation Procedure
Install swing drive (2) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (C) to the locating pin and the locating pin bore.
Apply Tooling (D) to the mating surface of swing drive (2) and the main frame.
Apply Tooling (E) to bolts (1).
Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 900 100 N m (664 74 lb ft).
