Installation of Wiring Harness, Wiring, and Wire Connector
The following steps are guidelines for machine wiring harness routing and installation.Single Camera Configuration
Wires or harness that lead to components must be secured within 150 mm (5.9 inch) of the connector. Perform the following steps to route the wiring harness. Refer to Illustration 1.
Route wiring harness along the right-hand frame rail following the main machine harness. Only in area B use 4P-7428 Clip and attach with 7K-1181 Cable Strap .
Route the camera cable using a minimum bend radius of 50 mm (2 inch).
Coaxial cable should be mounted to the rear frame with 4P-7581 Clip and 4P-8134 Clip .

The 281-2928 Bracket As should be installed to rear support cross member bosses with 8T-4137 Bolt and 8T-4121 Hard Washer . Torque specification 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
Perform the steps 3.a and 3.b to install the 347-1668 Camera Gp .
Install 347-1668 Camera Gp on 281-2928 Bracket As with supplied hardware.
Torque camera mounting hardware to 12 3 N m (106 27 lb in).

Connector bulkhead on cab plate installation/modification.
If bulkhead plate has punch holes, use the original.
If no punch holes are present, install 271-1649 Plate As provided.
Remove upper right-hand punch hole from plate and install 333-8153 Electronic Connector Gp .

Perform the following for the cab wiring harness:
Install 280-2690 Monitor Harness As and run the wiring along the right-hand cab wall.
The Deutsch 6-Pin Connector connects to the original machine interface harness.
Connect 280-2690 Monitor Harness As to rear of display.

Perform the steps 6.a and 6.b for installation of display mount:Refer to Illustration 5.
Install 259-4399 Base to factory installed bracket on right-hand ROPS pillar, use 161-6984 Screw and 4B-4274 Washer .
Install second 259-4399 Base to rear of display with 4B-4274 Washer and 7Y-7388 Screw supplied hardware.

Finish the installation by performing the tasks in the following list.
Verify that the mounting hardware is secure.
Verify that all of the cable connections are tight.
Verify that all of the cables and wires have been properly secured.
Verify that all machine plates and guards that may have been removed for the installation procedure are reinstalled on the machine.
Verify that the machine operates properly.
Verify proper image switching during all desired operation.
Verify that all images are oriented properly and that all images have a small portion of the machine in the image frame as a point of reference.
