Change Oil and Filter
1. Remove the transmission drain plug and allow the oil to drain.2. Clean and install the drain plug. 3. Remove the dipstick.4. Add oil through the dipstick tube opening. See "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities".5. Clean and install the dipstick. 6. Remove the filter element.7. Clean the filter housing base. Make sure all of the oil filter gasket is removed.8. Apply a light coat of oil to the gasket of the new filter.9. Install the new filter by hand. When the gasket contacts the filter base, tighten the filter 3/4 turn more.Differential
Change Gear Lubricant
The differential is located at the rear of the machine. 1. Remove access cover. 2. Remove drain plug (1) and allow the gear lubricant to drain.3. Clean and install drain plug (1).4. Remove the fill/check plug (2).5. Add gear lubricant. See "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities".6. Maintain gear lubricant to the bottom of plug (2).7. Clean and install plug (2).8. Change the Oil and Filter
Operate the machine long enough to warm the oil. 1. Remove the drain plug located in the bottom of the hydraulic oil reservoir. Allow the oil to drain.2. Clean and install the drain plug. 3. Remove the filter with a strap-type wrench.4. Clean the filter housing base. Make sure all of the old filter gasket is removed.5. Apply a light coat of hydraulic oil to the gasket of the new filter.6. Install the new filter by hand. When the gasket contacts the filter base, tighten the filter 3/4 turn more.7. Remove the hydraulic reservoir fill cap.8. Add hydraulic oil. See "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities".9. Maintain the oil level to the center of the sight gauge.10. Clean and install the filler cap.Universal Joints
Lubricate the Fittings
The universal joints are located behind the operator's seat. 1. Remove the access cover. 2. Lubricate the fitting in each universal joint. Total of two fittings.3. Install the access cover.
