HOSE AS 2500516 - Caterpillar

1. Remove seven bolts and remove center flashing (1). 2. Raise two hinged plates to access and remove four bolts (2). 3. Lower the hopper until it is resting on the stops. Install a strap and hoist as illustrated and remove hopper sheet metal. 4. Loosen bolt (3), remove bolt (4) and remove hose guard (5). 5. Remove bolt (3). Disconnect two hydraulic hoses (6). Remove two fittings (7). Plug hoses (6).6. Connect a hoist to the truck hitch and raise slightly.7. Remove pin (8) and remove truck hitch from the machine. For installation of the truck hitch, reverse the removal steps.Disassemble & Assemble Truck Hitch Group
Support truck hitch group. 1. Remove four bolts (1), nut (2), arm plate (3), grease fitting (4), and arm assembly (5) on left side. 2. Remove four locknuts (6) and remove roller cover assembly (7) on left side. 3. Remove bolt (8) on left side. 4. Remove guide roller (9) on left side. 5. Remove guide spacer (10) on left side by pulling outward. 6. Remove extension tube assembly (11) on left side.7. Repeat Steps 1 - 6 for right side. 8. Remove two fittings (12) and remove bolt (13). 9. Remove hydraulic cylinder (14). 10. Loosen two locknuts (15) and loosen two bolts (16).11. Remove roller support assembly (17).12. Remove bolt (18), washer (19), retaining ring (20), bearing (21), rim roller (22), and grease fitting (23).13. Remove two bolts (24) and remove roller (25).14. Remove four washers (26), two bearings (27), and roller shaft (28).15. Repeat steps 10 - 14 for right side.16. Remove bolt (29), roller shaft (30), two washers (31), and roller (32).17. Remove two washers (33), four plates (34), and two bearings (35).18. Repeat steps 16 and 17 for right side. For assembly, reverse the disassembly steps. All truck hitch components must be cleaned and inspected before assembly. If any components are worn beyond recommended limits they must be replaced. Lubricate all moving parts with clean oil during assembly. Assemble truck hitch with all new seals.Disassemble & Assemble Truck Hitch Cylinder
The left and right side of cylinder shown, is the same.1. Remove end cap (1).2. Remove wiper seal (2).3. Remove bushing (3).4. Remove two seals (4).5. Remove rod (5) from housing (6).6. Remove nut (7).7. Remove two seals (8).8. Repeat Steps 1 - 7 for other side of truck hitch cylinder. The following steps are for the assembly of the truck hitch cylinder. All cylinder components must be cleaned and inspected before assembly. If any components are worn beyond recommended limits they must be replaced. Lubricate all moving parts with clean oil during assembly. Assemble cylinder with all new seals.9. Install two seals (8).10. Install nut (7) and tighten to a torque of 177-231 N m (130-170 lb-ft).11. Install rod (5) into housing (6).12. Install two seals (4).13. Install bushing (3) with the notch facing the end cap.14. Install wiper seal (2).15. Install end cap (1).16. Repeat Steps 10 - 15 for opposite side.
