VIMSpc Software and the Cat® Production Measurement Application
VIMSpc software has combined the functionality of the Information System Builder and the VIMSpc software into one application.Reference: Refer to the Help Document within VIMSpc for more detailed information.Application Window of VIMSpc
To use VIMSpc, follow these steps:
Connect VIMSpc.
Press the "PC" option on the left-side menu.Home Screen
The Home Screen in the VIMSpc status shows the following information about the machine:Software Part Number - The flash file currently installed in the ECM.Config-File Part Number - The configuration file currently installed in the ECM, if applicable.Hardware Part Number - The part number and revision level of the ECM.Model Code - The machine model, or "PL522" if a PL522 module is equipped.Product ID - The machine serial number.Equipment Number - The name the machine will appear as in VisionLink®. (VisionLink is a trademark of Trimble Navigation Limited, registered in the United States and in other countries).Date - The current date as reported by the ECM.Time - The current time as reported by the ECM.SMH - Current service meter hours of the machine.Cat Production Measurement Application
The Cat Production Measurement application screen is accessible through the PCS tab at the top of the VIMSpc Home Screen. The Cat Production Measurement application screen has the following three tabs:
Truck List
Material List
PrinterTruck List

ID (Displayed to Operator)
Model
Type
Target Weight (Displayed to Operator)There are 10 trucks by default, but up to 50 different trucks can be configured.

Truck List screen
To Configure the Additional 40 Trucks click the NEXT button seen in Illustration Number 1.If a Truck needs to be removed:
Delete the information for the truck in the Truck List section of VIMSpc.
Press the "Apply" button at the bottom of the page.The defaults are:
The number of trucks in the list: 10
The truck names: Truck1-10
The model type: CAT789
The truck type: B
The target weight: 0.0Material List

There are 10 materials by default, but up to 20 different materials can be configured.To Configure the additional ten materials, click the NEXT button seen in Illustration 4.

Delete the information for the material in the Material List section of VIMSpc.
Press the "Apply" button at the bottom of the page.The defaults are:

Printer screen
The following printer tickets settings are configured in the Printer tab:Printer Status - Set to either Enabled or Disabled. This parameter must be set to Enabled for the printer to work and for the printer menus to show up in the Display. This parameter can also be set to Enabled via the Display.Print Copies - Sets the number of copies that will be printed when the Store button is pressed. The default number of tickets printed is 1.Header Blank Lines - Adjusts the amount of blank space at the top of a ticket. The default value is
