Remove the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Pump - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove O-ring seal (2) , adapter (1) , and bolt (3) from the water pump. Remove the O-ring seal from the adapter.

Use Tooling (A) to remove impeller (4) .

Remove bolt (5) .
Use Tooling (B) to remove gear (6) .

Remove bolts (7) , retainer (8) , and bearing assembly (9) .

Tap on shaft (10) with a rubber hammer in order to remove the shaft from ring (11) and seal assembly (12) .
Remove ring (11) and seal assembly (12) from the impeller side of the water pump.

Remove lip seal (13) from the gear side of the water pump.
